Ipsy Glam Bag | June 2016

June's Ipsy Glam bag is here, and it's jam packed with good stuff all conveniently packaged in a cute graffiti-ed keepsake bag. Ipsy costs just $10 a month and all sorts of cool deluxe-size samples and full-sized products show up at your door! Want to sign up? Click here

Here's the rundown of June's bag...
  • clariSEA Deep Pore Detox Activated Charcoal Exfoliating Mask - Clears breakouts, gently exfoliates and refreshes the skin. It's a mask "disguised" as a cleanser; just mix it with water for deep cleaning.
  • Hey Honey 24Seven Day & Night Revitalizing Cream - Heals and hydrates, balances out the skin, and perfect for use either day or not.
  • Seraphine Botanicals Happy Hibiscus Blush - A rosy blush shade that you can layer to the intensity you desire. It's 98% natural (nice!) and claims to last up to 8 hours.
  • Sephora Formula X Nail Polish in Wingwoman - A reddish-pink summer red. Formulated without parabens, pthalates or sulfates. I love the Formula X polishes, they're long lasting and apply easily.
  • Urban Decay eyeshadow in Fireball - A peachy-gold shimmer shade that switches appearance in the light - a "shade-shifter". Velvety smooth and easy to apply. Urban Decay shadows are among my favorites.

January Ipsy Glam Bag | 2016

Sorry for the late post - my beauty room has been in disarray while we prep our nursery! But, as of this past weekend I finally have my space back and I was able to get some photos taken.

Annnyway, this month's Ipsy Glam Bag arrived and it's a good one! Glam Bags cost just $10 a month, and you get  variety of full sized products and deluxe samples to test. Your beauty preferences are taken in to account so you usually end up with at least a couple things you like. To get your own glam bag, sign up here.

Here's what came in January's bag:

  • Jelly Pong Pong Fair Lashes CURL mascara - This is a totally new brand and product to me. This water-resistant mascara claims to hold curl all day, and give extra volume and definition to the lashes. It contains no mineral oils or fragrance.
  • Lasting Smiles lip balm in Peppermint Creme - This is an organic lip balm that's fair trade certified, with ingredients that are sourced from small farms cooperatives. For every 1,000 balms sold, a child's cleft lip surgery is funded.  It smells amazing and has a cooling feel on the lips. I really like this lippie.

May 2014 Ipsy Glam Bag

My favorite time of the month is here - Ipsy time! This month brings lots of summer-friendly products, which is perfect because the weather has finally made a warm turn here in Minnesota!

If you don't know what Ipsy is, it's a $10 monthly subscription. Every month a bag of beauty goodies shows up at your door, and if you like what you try, there are discounts or offers for each brand on the Ipsy website. Click any of the hyperlinks in this blog to sign up for yourself!

Here's what came in May's bag....
  • Hey Honey Take it Off Exfoliating Honey Peel Off Mask - I have never heard of this brand before, but you know I love my masks. This will be fun to try.
  • Balanced Guru No Frizz Organic Sesame & Lemongrass Balancing Oil - This is a really nice sample size, totaling 0.5 oz. It smells really nice like lemongrass and how awesome that it's organic, too!
  • Pacifica Mineral Eyeshadow duo - I've never tried any makeup from Pacifica but I'm really looking forward to trying this! The purple in this duo is really beautiful.
  • Hang Ten Classic Sport Sunscreen - Considering I got a tiny bit of sunburn from being outside this weekend, this is much needed. Perfect little travel size!
  • Pur-Lisse pur-moist hydra-balance moisturizer - I love having backup moisturizers, so this will be nice to have in my backup stash as well as for traveling.
If you haven't yet subscribed to Ipsy yet, I would highly recommend it! If you already subscribe, let me know what came in your bag!
