Landeva Organics

Natural and organic living is something I am passionate about. I try to eat mostly organic foods with ingredients I can recognize, and I also like to use beauty products that are organic and natural. I truly believe in the power of using products that are naturally derived, and I've found that my skin absolutely loves it when I keep things simple.

My transition to healthier eating, and using organic and natural products began about a year and a half ago, and in this transition I've stumbled upon many different products and I've shared many of them with you. See here, here and here for just a few examples.

I've recently come across another brand of products that I've really been loving, called Landeva Organics. Landeva Organics is a Canadian company with an awesome philosophy: "We know that beautiful skin on the outside comes from within. We also know that by watching what we eat and taking care of our bodies from the inside we become more beautiful. So, in considering healthy choices we can’t leave out the biggest organ of the body: the skin. The skin is the largest organ of your body, and is responsible for many basic and essential functions in it, and anything we put on it can be easily absorbed into the body through the pores. We have to take care of it to like what we see in the mirror"

I've got a sampling of some of their products to share with you. I'd highly recommend checking this company out - they have affordable, natural products that are really great! I am in love!

Argan Shea Face Balm ($28, 2 oz.) - This balm is super thick, formulated with organic mango, argan oil and shea butters, and lightly scented with essential oils. There are many ways you can use this product - as a facial moisturizer, or as a cleansing balm, or a deep conditioning treatment for the hair, or for mega-hydration on any dry areas like elbows, cuticles, hands, you name it!

I found this product to be a bit too hydrating for my combination skin, so I used it to hydrate my very dry hands. A little bit (like seen above) goes a LONG way, so I take just a dollop and then squeeze some lotion on my hands and mix them together before going to bed. I wake up with really soft, hydrated hands. I really really like this product, and especially love how versatile it is! Natural products with simple ingredients such as this really can be used for just about anything!

Nourishing Detox Facial Soap ($9, ~4 oz.) - Facial soaps seem to be all the rage lately. And after using this one, I totally get it. This soap aims to detox the skin without stripping it of essential moisture and oils. The bar contains activated charcoal and Moroccan clay, goat's milk, and plant oils to draw out impurities and keep blemishes at bay. It's lightly scented with essential oils.

You're really getting a quality product here. According to Landeva's website, "Each bar of soap is handmade from scratch in small batches using the traditional cold process method, then naturally air-dried for at least 6 weeks to create a heavier, longer-lasting bar."

I like to use this as my morning cleanser as it's really gentle and works great at getting off any excess product leftover from my nighttime skincare regimen.

Hair and Body Oil ($29, 3,8 fl oz.) - The hair and body oil by Landeva is made up of a variety of oils including argan oil, Camellia seed, jojoba, avocado and coconut oil enriched with vitamin E, and pure essential oils for fragrance. This smells like citrus and really did make my hair feel super soft. I prefer to use it on my hair as an overnight treatment, prior to washing it the next morning. It washes out nicely and makes my hair feel soft. You can use this oil on your hair, body, or as a cleansing oil.

Rose Nourishing Toner ($20, 3.8 fl oz.) - I got a little sample of the Rose Nourishing Toner and really enjoyed it. Those of you who read Glazed Over often, or know me personally, know I love all things rose-scented. This toner is very gentle,  and is effective at sweeping away any leftover makeup or impurities left on the skin.

Have you tried Landeva Organics? How do you incorporate organic and natural items in to your daily life? Let me know!

Holiday Cheer + What I Got for Christmas

With the hustle and bustle of the holidays I didn't have much time to post anything here on Glazed Over! I had a jam packed week and I thought I'd share with you what I was up to, plus my Christmas beauty haul.

My husband and I are quite lucky that both of our families live nearby so we are able to see both of our families pretty equally during the holidays. We had so much fun with our loved ones, and we had lots of fun with Winnie as it was her very first Christmas. Santa Paws deemed her a very nice girl and she got some fun new toys in her stocking.

It's bittersweet to see the holidays come to an end, but I am looking forward to all that 2015 has to offer!

Xmas Eve Apples to Apples battle | Strong coffee in my fave mug | Winnie + me on Xmas Eve | Winnie by the tree
Xmas Eve FOTD | Winnie @ both of  her grandma & grandpas houses | VIP bowling | My parent's Xmas Tree

I have to say, I was utterly spoiled this Christmas. My hubby and parents got me some amazing beauty goodies and I thought I'd share. Let me know what holiday goodies you received!

I hope you all had a wonderful holiday and Santa was extra good to you! Cheers to 2015!

December Ipsy

Merry Ipsy, ya'll! December's Glam Bag has some goodies that I am really excited to receive! For those of you new to the concept of Ipsy - it's a monthly beauty subscription service that delivers beauty samples to your door for just $10/month! Click here for more info or to subscribe.

Here's what I received this month.

  • Nourish Organic Renewing Eye Cream - I really like this brand, and I've never tried this. Oddly, I can't find this product on their website, so I don't know if it's new or discontinued, but either way, I'm looking forward to using this.
  • Bumble and Bumble Bb Straight Blow Dry - This product helps tame frizzy hair and keep it straight and styled for up to 3 days. Rarely do I go through blow dry products, so I'm happy to get a little tester - it'll last me forever!
  • Cailyn Cosmetics Just Mineral Eye Polish in Orchid - This mineral eye shadow is made from 100% raw mineral powder. It is the most gorgeous pinky-nude shade and I can't wait to wear it!
  • NYX Cosmetics Butter Lip Balm in Red Velvet - I love these butter balms. They provide a soft wash of color and they also hydrate. I prefer these over the Maybelline Baby Lips a million times over.
  • Tarte Lights Camera Lashes mascara - I LOVE Tarte mascaras, and how convenient to have a little travel size! This mascara really does make your lashes look great. Love it!

What did you get in this month's Ipsy bag? Have you tried any of these products? Let me know!

Empties #10

Dig through my trash with me! Here's what I used up recently.

  • Michael Todd Blue Green Algae Antibacterial Toner - I really loved this stuff. It smells like it was made by Aveda (which I love) and made my face feel really clean without stripping the skin. Would I repurchase? Yes.
  • Simple Foaming Cleanser - This took me literally forever to go through... I'm talking like 6 months or more? It was a very very basic cleanser, but I think I realized when using this that I just don't love foam cleansers. It was fine, but I got bored by it quickly. Would I repurchase? Maybe.
  • Maybelline Clean Express Makeup Remover - This is your basic eye makeup remover. It works really great for waterproof mascara and eyeliner and doesn't burn my eyes. Would I repurchase? Yes, I already have.
  • blum Naturals Eye Makeup Remover - Can you tell this is still totally full? This is the worst eye makeup remover I've ever tried. I had to scrub the living daylights out of my eyes and it left me looking like a raccoon - not to mention it really burned! Not a fan, can't even bother getting through it. Would I repurchase? No.
  • Michael Todd Antioxidant Carrot Multivitamin Serum - This serum is supposed to help reduce wrinkles and redness and improve the overall health of the skin. I didn't notice any drastic changes, but it was nice. Would I repurchase? Yes.

  • B&BW Pumpkin Latte & Marshmallow Triple Moisture Body Cream - Remember this? I loved the smell of this lotion and it did a great job at moisturizing my skin and sinking in without feeling greasy. The B&BW Triple Moisture Body Creams have such a great formula. Would I repurchase? Yes.
  • Nature's Bounty Hair, Skin & Nails Gummies - This is kind of a different empty to include, but I thought I'd throw it in. I really do think biotin helps keep my hair feeling healthy and growing faster and I definitely notice a difference in the strength of my nails. Would I repurchase? Yes.
  • Korres Body Butter in Basil Lemon - How about this.... remember this? I wasn't the biggest fan of the scent of this lotion, but it did an OK job moisturizing. I hadn't ever tried any body butters from Korres, and honestly, I wasn't in love. I wasn't a fan of the consistency and texture of this lotion - it was hard to rub in and felt like it just sat on top of my skin. Would I repurchase? No.
  • Organic Surge Body Cream in Sweet Blossom - This body cream was awesome! It's very lightly scented, it's lightly moisturizing and I love that it's organic. Would I repurchase? Yes.

  • B&BW Wallflowers in Winter Cabin - I'm not sure B&BW makes this scent anymore, do they? I don't like to use wallflowers as they're full of a bunch of chemicals that probably aren't good to breathe in, but I'm determined to use up the ones I have. This smells nice, kind of musky and fresh.
  • LUSH Sikkim Girls Body Lotion - I didn't completely get through this before it went sour on me. This is a SUPER fragrant body lotion that's comprised of jasmine, vanilla, darjeeling tea, and cocoa butter. Honestly, I kind of think it smells old lady-ish (I bought it online without ever smelling it) but I also thought it smelled kind of dark and sexy? Idk. Would I repurchase? No.
  • Tom's Whole Care Toothpaste in Cinnamon Clove - I don't like using a toothpaste that isn't minty. I never felt like my breath was fresh and my teeth were clean after using it, even if they were. Would I repurchase? No.
  • epielle Aloe Vera Cleansing Tissues - I got these at Big Lots and I don't use them on my face, I only use them to wipe up swatches. They're fine and all, but I won't be able to buy them again as my local Big Lots is closing (wahhh!!!!) Would I repurchase? Yes.
  • Clarisonic Deep Pore Brush Heads - I don't notice huge differences between the different varieties of Clarisonic brush heads, but these were just fine. Would I repurchase? Yes.

  • Covergirl LashBlast Clump Crusher Water Resistant Mascara - I really like the Clump Crusher mascaras, both waterproof and regular versions. It does a good job of lengthening, separating and volumizing without clumping one bit. Would I repurchase? Yes.
  • Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3-in-1 Foundation - My absolute favorite foundation. There's always one of these in my empties. See a full review hereWould I repurchase? Yes.
  • Melvita Rose Floral Water - This is a beautifully scented facial mist that is so refreshing on the skin. I love all rose scented things, and this doesn't disappoint. Would I repurchase? Yes.
  • LI'TYA Munthari Hand Hydrating Lotion - This is a sample size of a VERY expensive lotion. It's formulated with a plethora of different essential oils, so it smells so so so amazing. Unfortunately, I just don't think it hydrated my hands very well, so I'd never shell the money out for it. Would I repurchase? No.

  • Jordana Fabuliner Liquid Eye Liner - This eyeliner is ridiculously cheap, lasts a long time, and does the job. The pen isn't as thin as I'd prefer, but I liked using this. Would I repurchase? Yes.
  • Wet n Wild Mega Liner Liquid Eyeliner - This is one of my all-time favorite eyeliners. I tend to retire this for the winter months as my eyes are more prone to watering and this will leak at the first sign of watery eyes, but I do love it. Super cheap, and it's easily the blackest boldest eyeliner I've ever used. Would I repurchase? Yes.
  • SkinMedica TNS Eye Repair - This was a nice eye cream. I didn't have enough to really get a great feel for how well it works, but it was good for the short while I used it. Would I repurchase? Yes.
  • Dr. Lipp Original Nipple Balm - This is an all-purpose balm you can use on dry spots, lips, nipples (if you wish - it was created for nursing mothers originally, I believe) or whatever you need it for. I find it to be a bit too sticky. Would I repurchase? No.
  • Taylor Swift Wonderstruck Perfume - I definitely don't need this in my perfume collection. It is so basic, and not unique in the slightest, but it does smell nice. Would I repurchase? No.
  • Marvis Toothpaste in Classic Strong Mint - I love the packaging on this little sample. It made my mouth feel super clean and it tasted yummy. Would I repurchase? Yes.

  • Old Factory Candle in First Snow - This was really nice and super fresh. It kind of freaks me out that the paper got so hot it kind of burned/singed/whatever? Read more about this candle company hereWould I repurchase? Yes.
  • dw Home Candle in Warm Tobacco Pipe - I absolutely adored this candle. Full review hereWould I repurchase? Yes.
  • Yankee Candle in Witches Brew - My all-time favorite scent by Yankee Candle. Full review hereWould I repurchase? Yes.
  • B&BW Candle in Fresh Balsam - This is last year's packaging... yes.. it's been sitting in storage waiting for Christmas all year long. I didn't think I was big in to pine scents, but I started burning this and now I am OBSESSED with pine! This is so good. Would I repurchase? Yes.

Have you tried any of these products? What have you used up this month? Let me know!

Coastal Scents Haul!

Black Friday got me again... I just couldn't help myself from clicking over to Coastal Scents' website for their 50% off Black Friday sale, and well.... I did it again. (Click here to see what I got last year) But I don't regret it for one second.

Coastal Scents is an up and coming brand, and really, I think they're such a hidden gem in the beauty world. They have a variety of makeup and skincare products, as well as brushes. I have tried a variety of their eyeshadows and they all perform like high-end eyeshadows even thought they only cost $1.99 EACH. They are creamy (even though they're powder!) and soft and blend SOsoSOso well. Seriously... they're just plain EPIC. I could go on all day about them!

I also own a number of Coastal Scents brushes which work just as well as my Sigma brushes, a more expensive brush brand. If you want to experiment with quality makeup without breaking the bank, Coastal Scents is where it's at. Period.

Here's what I picked up from the brand on Black Friday. I got all the eyeshadows for just 99 cents each! SCORE!

Starting at the top, left to right, I got the following "hot pot" eyeshadows: Canyon Coral, Chamois Nude, Coral Treasure, Grape Vine, Harvest Brown.

Bottom row, left to right: Kodiak, Light Taupe, Oatmeal Tan, Panama Rose, Raisin Berry, Tuscan Terra Cotta, and Wild Raisin.

Here's what they look like swatched over the NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk, for an added color pop (you can use this eye pencil as your primer to get the same amazing color payoff on your eyelids).

NOTE: I accidentally forgot to swatch Coral Treasure (the one shown before Grape Vine above), so I added it on to the end - on right.

And here are some super close swatches so you can see how fantastic all of these are!

L to R: Canyon Coral, Chamois Nude, Grape Vine, Harvest Brown
L to R: Kodiak, Light Taupe, Oatmeal Tan, Panama Rose
L to R: Raisin Berry, Tuscan Terra Cotta, Wild Raisin, Coral Treasure

As you can tell, I tend to like neutrals and pinks, soooo that's what I got! If you've tried anything by Coastal Scents, I'd love to know what you've tried and how you like it!

MONAT Rejuveniqe Oil Intensive

I'm not totally done talkin' dry skin. I've got ONE more idea that's more versatile than just a skin savior. This product has many uses - keep reading to see what I mean.

A new contender in the US beauty market, MONAT has recently come in to the spotlight with the Rejuveniqe Oil Intensive. This is a really cool product; it's meant to mimic the body's natural oils to replenish hair and skin instantly and deeply repair with extended use.

There are many boasted benefits of using this product, according to MONAT. It provides nutrients to prevent premature aging, it's a natural alternative to harmful silicones, it protects hair from styling damage, and it's super versatile - it can be mixed in with body lotions for an extra boost, applied directly to problem areas like elbows or cuticles, or used alone as an all-body moisturizer. Use it as you wish, this product's usage is completely up to you!

One thing I really love about this product is that it's free of sulfates, parabens, phthalates, harmful colors and fragrances and it's cruelty-free. Holla!

The Rejuveniqe Oil Intensive has a really fresh, citrus scent. I don't really enjoy citrusy scents on my face, but there's something about this oil that's sweeter and just overall pleasant so it didn't bug me.

On the note of packaging, this has a high-end feel. The bottle is glass, and it has a great dropper that reaches to the bottom of the bottle (PET PEEVE when droppers don't reach all the way down) and has nice suction that always brings enough product up. Maybe this seems basic and boring, but you wouldn't believe how many products I try that have crappy droppers! It drives me nuts!

I used this product primarily as a nightly facial moisturizer. I hit a patch this winter where my skin was getting annoying dry patches that I couldn't clear up with any of my tried and true favorites. When this showed up at my door, I tried it out to see if it packed any punch, and it completely cleared up my dry patches, and it didn't break me out! I really liked using this product! It did exactly what it promises to do.

MONAT Rejuveniqe Oil Intensive can be purchased online at www.monatglobal.com. It is rather pricey, retailing at $99, but you do get a quality item that delivers on the promises it offers.

What's your favorite multi-tasking moisturizer? Let me know in the comments!

Winter Skin Saviors

Here in Minnesota, as the temps drop, so do moisture levels in my skin. I think this is probably true for many of you who live in colder climates. Non-stop heat blasting through my home and work does a number on my skin from head to toe. And as a skincare nut, even a skincare nut with oily to normal skin, I still work to keep my face moisturized and happy during the cold months. Here are three products that help keep my face hydrated and healthy.

CeraVe is a heavenly moisturizer. For one, it's ridiculously cheap for the amount you get, but the quality of the product is amazing. I got CeraVe last winter when, at that time, I was on a medication which severely dried out my skin. What's so great about CeraVe is that it's formulated with hyaluronic acid, which is a fun little ingredient whose molecules can retain up to 1,000 times their weight in water. This means that it will plump the skin, reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and keep moisture where it needs to be.

If you have dry skin, CeraVe is where it's at. I prefer to use this moisturizer in the morning, before I apply my makeup. It's not too heavy, and hey - if I can plump my skin up a bit, I'm all about it.

Tarte's Maracuja Oil is one of my favorite moisturizers. Not only is this oil super hydrating, but it does the skin good. It's formulated with a high dose of vitamin C to rejuvenate the skin, and to even out skin tone. Maracuja Oil is also a great anti-aging treatment. I prefer to use this moisturizer at night, and especially when my skin is acting up. I like to use this product because it's non-comodogenic, meaning it won't break out the skin. And actually, because of all the good antioxidants in this oil, it can actually help clear breakouts.

Don't be afraid of incorporating an oil in to your skincare routine. Using an oil on your face won't make it more oily, in fact, it can even help reduce the amount of oil your skin produces.

Bare Naked Skin Nourishing Face & Eye Cream* is a new product that I've recently added to my regimen for the winter time. This cream is made up of entirely organic ingredients like shea butter, coconut oil, rosemary extract and beeswax. This is for those of you with extremely dry skin. I can't say that mine is, but it does need some extra TLC from time to time.

As you can see in the picture above, it almost looks grainy. These grains melt in to an oily substance  that is easily smoothed all over the under eye area or all over the face. The amount on my finger above is far more than you'd need for your whole face, that's how potent this stuff is. This moisturizer will leave your face feeling silky smooth, soft, and it'll also work anti-aging magic as well. I prefer to use this at night so my skin can replenish itself, and because I don't like to use oily moisturizers in the morning; I find them to be too heavy for my oil-prone skin. I don't use this every single night, as it is very rich and my skin doesn't always need so potent of a moisturizer, but a couple times a week this is a really nice treat.

What products keep your skin in good shape for the winter? I'd love to know!

*Bare Naked Skin Nourishing Face & Eye Cream was provided for my review. Regardless, I only recommend products I believe are good for my readers. See my disclosure policy for details.

DrJ Organics | Eye Lifting Creme + Facial Elixir Review

Is it just me, or have organic skincare options become more widely and easily available? I find that I really don't have to look too hard to find something new to try that's made with friendly organic ingredients, even at big box stores like Target! I'm loving it!

If you keep up with Glazed Over, you know that I review many organic skincare options (see here and here for a couple examples) because I prefer them in my own skincare regimen, but I also want to bring my readers different options of all price points that ya'll can try for yourselves. Today I've got some products from DrJ Organics that I've been testing out. This brand is new to me, but I've been using the heck out of these for the last month and am ready to let you know how I feel about them.

The cool thing about DrJ Organics products? They're vegan, all-natural, and certified organic, and are always made without using parabens, phthalates, GMOs, artificial dyes, petroleum and other harmful ingredients.

Toners are a consistent part of my skincare routine, especially lately, and I enjoyed giving DrJ's Pure Organic Facial Elixir a try. This toner smells like citrus and does a nice job of refining pores and refreshing the skin. This product is formulated with cucumber extracts to minimize pores, blueberry and aloe leaf to heal the skin, and chamomile to detox the skin and help combat aging. This can be purchased directly on the DrJ Organics website for $30.

I always always ALWAYS use an eye cream morning and night because I want to combat aging even now in my 20s. Moisturizing the eye area is essential to anti-aging and so I never go without one. The DrJ Eye Lifting Creme (pictured above) is one of the thinnest eye creams I've ever used, but that's not to say it's bad. It's formulated with cocoa and shea butters to soften the under eyes, and sunflower seed oil to firm the skin. I didn't notice any major differences in my undereyes, but I just found I paid less attention to that area, which is a good thing as I often focus on them as they're prone to dehydration lines. I don't really expect to notice big differences in my undereyes from eye creams because I use them more for prevention than instant results. This eye cream can be purchased from the DrJ Organics website for $45.

Overall, I really enjoy using both of these products. They are a bit spendy, but I love that they're organic and free of chemicals and harmful ingredients, and oftentimes that comes with a spendier price tag.

Have you tried anything from DrJ Organics? Let me know in the comments!

Stocking Stuffer Idea #2: Old Factory Candle Trio | GIVEAWAY!

There are just 17 days until Christmas!!! And if you want to be ahead of the game and wrap up your holiday shopping early (no pun intended), take my advice and pick up an Old Factory Candle set for the stockings you have left to fill. And go back and see Stocking Stuffer Idea #1 to fill them up a little further. PLUS, you could win a set of your own Old Factory candles! Read through to the bottom for a chance to be a lucky winner!

These sets come with three 2 oz. soy candles that are hand poured in the USA, each with a burn time of 20 hours. Because they are soy, they burn cleanly and are friendly for the environment.

There are ten different trios to pick from, so you can certainly find a set for anyone on your list. I picked the Winter Wonderland trio for myself.

The Winter Wonderland trio comes with three amazing seasonal scents: First Snow, Roasted Chestnut and Hot Cocoa. All of these are shockingly true to what you'd expect them to smell like. So far, I've burned First Snow in my bathroom and it has a really fresh, clean scent and great throw around the room. I honestly wasn't sure what to expect, but my expectations were exceeded.

These candles burn really cleanly and evenly, and I did get many hours of burn time out of the small 2 oz candle, which I was impressed with. Unlike many B&BW or Yankee Candles, these candles burn all the way down until there's nearly nothing left, so I actually feel like I get full use out of them.

You can purchase these trios on Amazon (click the link to see all the trio options), and right now they're selling for $25 per set, which is $5 off the regular price. Get them now so you can have them for holiday gifts!

ENTER BELOW for your chance to win a trio for yourself! Sorry, this giveaway is open to US residents only.

a Rafflecopter giveaway I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Holiday Wish List 2014

My beauty wish list spans far beyond what you see here, but I thought I'd show you some of the things that I hope Santa will bring me!

  • Elizabeth & James Nirvana White - My husband got me Nirvana Black for our anniversary this year, and now I have it in my head that I absolutely need both. Both scents are classy, sexy, and feminine. The White version is the lighter, more floral sister of Nirvana Black.
  • Don't Go to the Cosmetics Counter Without Me (9th Edition) by Paula Begoun - I don't own any of the editions of this book and I've recently come to love Paula Begoun. She's got a wealth of great information about what ingredients are in products and what to grab and what to avoid. I want to dig a little deeper in to her brain and learn more from her.
  • Philosophy Pink Marshmallow Buttercream Trio - I've never even smelled this before, but I can assure you that I will love it. Pretty much anything with marshmallow in the scent notes means I am going to love it. I haven't played around much with Philosophy shower gels or lotions so I thought this would be the perfect set to start with.
  • Balenciaga Rosabotanica Perfume - I got a little sample of this from Hautelook this year and I fell head over heels in love. Like, make it my signature fragrance kind of love. It's rosy, but so much deeper than that. It's really one of the most unique fragrances I've ever set my nose to!
  • MAC Warm Soul Mineralize Blush -  The last thing I need is another blush, but I saw someone talking about Warm Soul on YouTube, then proceeded to look up swatches and fell in love. The rest is history.
  • Bobbi Brown Warm Glow Palette - Ugh, this palette is so disgustingly gorgeous. I keep seeing it in magazines and blogs and yearning for it. Just like blush, the last thing I need is another palette, but I mean... LOOK AT IT. Gorgeous, just freakin' gorgeous. And expensive.

What's on your holiday wish list? Do you have any of these products? Let me know!

MEMEBOX Special #45: Chocolate Mania

I am a self-proclaimed sweet tooth. Pancakes rank as one of my top meals (breakfast, lunch or dinner), we go through syrup like no one's business, and I always need something sweet to cap off a meal. It's pathetic. So I'm sure you can imagine my overwhelming delight to receive a Memebox totally devoted to chocolate, a sweet I also totally love.

Let me back up...you may be wondering what a Memebox is if you're new to the subscription beauty box world. Memebox (prononounced Mi-Mi Box), is the #1 beauty box provider in Korea - offering boxes full of awesome Korean cosmetic samples.  They're not sent monthly, you order them individually, so you never have to receive box with unwanted products.

"If you’re a sucker for chocolatey treats like us, and want to see your everyday beauty products look, feel, or smell like real chocolate, this is the perfect box for you! Indulge yourself with all the benefits that chocolate has to offer without all the guilt and calories! Chocolate, known to be loaded with minerals and antioxidants, provides beauty benefits that will make you feel and look your best! I mean, who hasn’t felt loads better after biting down into a chunk of chocolate!" (via Memebox)

Here's the details of what's inside this chocolatey box:

Skinfood Cacao Hand Balm - This hand balm smells like cocoa butter and delivers deep moisture for dry hands. On the skin, it feels quite oily so if you don't like a hand balm that doesn't sink in right away, this might not be for you. I found it really nice as my hands are quite dry this time of year. It's a perfect hand balm to use before bed, which is how I plan to use it.

Neogen Code9 Gold Cacao Cream - This is my favorite product from the whole box. The Neogen Code9 Gold Cacao Cream is a facial butter for those with extra dry skin. This is a perfect cream for extremely dry winter skin. This cream has naturally derived ingredients of gold, cacao seed butter, mango seed butter, shea butter and olive oil, and are good for all skin types.

I don't have the driest skin, but I do need extra moisture in the winter, and this cream feels so luxurious. I use it only as a night cream and it has made my face feel soft and hydrated without breaking me out.

Missha Cacao & Cream Facial Scrub - This facial scrub is formulated with real cacao extracts to remove dead skin cells and congested pores without stripping the skin. It honestly smells and feels like you're exfoliating with a mixture of cookies and cream! This scrub has medium exfoliation, so if you have sensitive skin, you might find this to be a bit too rough. Personally, I prefer medium to rough exfoliators, and I really enjoy this scrub from Missha. Highly recommend.

dearberry Miss Mona Lisa Eyebrow 01 Choco Brownie - This dual-ended eyebrow pencil has a spoolie on one end to brush out the brows, and a pigmented pencil liner on the other. It has a no-smudge finish and long lasting hold. Unfortunately, this pencil is too dark for my brows so this will get passed on to a friend.

Binucook Cacao Choco Pie Soap - This soap smells divine, and just like chocolate - despite looking like a weird brown circle of soap. Apparently, Choco Pie is a well-loved Korean snack, however this version is meant for deep cleansing of the skin. It works to clean while still retaining the moisture and oil balance of your skin. It has a nice lather, and who doesn't like to wash their face with something that smells like dessert?!

Shara Shara Tempting Avacado Chocolate Massage Cream - This face cream is made of a blend of avocado oil, cacao extracts, and banana extracts. It's meant to nourish, firm and smooth rough, sagging skin. This product is unlike anything I've ever tried. You're supposed to massage it in to clean skin for 5 minutes before rinsing off. It felt like I was rubbing lotion all over my face, but aside from the weird factor, it made my skin feel really nice and soft. When you wash it off, it does suds a teeny bit, and it doesn't leave any residue behind. It's strangely nice.

Zamian Super Gold Cacao Pack - This product is a super decadent face mask, infused with a blend of 99.9% gold and cacao powders. Memebox says this product is a beauty formula widely enjoyed by royalty, as it is highly effective for smoothing, firming and nourishing the skin. This mask dries really quickly, but it doesn't make your face feel uncomfortably tight like so many masks do. It smells like chocolate and is really soothing on the skin.

Purederm Choco Cacao Collagen Mask - This is a facial pulp mask made from high concentrates of cacao and collagen extracts. It provides an instant moisture rush for the skin for extra elasticity and healthier complexion.

Stocking Stuffer Idea: ShaveMOB razors!

Most years, around the holidays, my mind feels completely devoid of gift ideas. All the other months of the year, it seems I can think of something at the drop of a hat. Maybe it's all the pressure of the holidays, or maybe it's just that I'm so busy that I don't have the time to be creative. But this year, something changed. I feel like I've got SO many good ideas, and I didn't want to let a good thing go to waste so I'm sharing my good ideas with you. I'm lookin' at you, people who have trouble being creative gift givers. This one's for you.

Here is the perfect stocking stuffer idea, for boys OR girls - the ShaveMOB Razor. They are affordable, practical, usable and they work great! This gift might not be up everyone's alley, but for your friends who like to be pampered, this is just what they need.

There are three varieties of ShaveMOB razors. They're called different names for men & women, but they're essentially the same thing. For the sake of this blog and my readers, I'll keep this info related to the women's version.

There's "The Practical" 3 blade razor, for a smooth easy shave, "The Purist" 4 blade razor for effortless, pure shaving, and "The Perfectionist" 6 blade razor, for the quickest shave.

My personal favorite is The Perfectionist. This is maybe my most favorite razor I've ever used. It really is quick, and it's darn near impossible to cut yourself using this bad boy. It gives a nice, close shave and not once have I ever knicked myself in the process. Gotta love it! It easily glides around my knees (often a problem spot where I cut myself), ankles and anywhere else! I'm obsessed.

ShaveMOB has a stocking stuffer deal where you can get a 2 month supply of razors which includes a men's or women's handle, 4 razor attachments, AND a free wooden mustache monocle just for funsies. Make sure you place your order by DECEMBER 17 if you want it in time for Christmas! If you choose the 6-blade razor head in a 2 month supply, it will only set you back $12.99 + shipping! I don't know if you've seen how pricey razors are these days, but even at Walmart, razors will set you back more than that, and I can guarantee you the ones at this price are not comparable quality.

For more information, or to purchase your stocking stuffer kit, just click here. Use offer code INTHEMOB at checkout to save $1 on your purchase!

What are your unique stocking stuffer ideas? I'd love to know!
