Athos Miracle Cream | Review

Hello - remember me?! I apologize for the week-long hiatus with no explanation, but my husband and I jetted off to the Dominican Republic for a beach getaway. (If you follow me on Instagram, you probably already know this!) It was good to stock up on some Vitamin D and salt air while the temps remained freezing here at home. Alas, we're back now and so is Glazed Over.

Today I've got a product all the way from Greece to chat about, something unique and totally of use if you're stuck in a cold, dry climate this winter. I'm talking about the Athos Miracle Cream.

The Athos Miracle Cream was originally created by the Monks of Mount Athos in Northern Greece. It promotes natural hydration, repair and protection of irritated or sensitive skin. This can be used in a number of ways: on dry hands, feet, cuticles, cracked or chapped skin, bug bites, burns or suburns, blisters, as tattoo-aftercare, for a foot massage or whatever other way you find to use it! '

This cream has a really nice earthy scent, sort of reminiscent of menthol and herbs. This cream is formulated with sage for a nice scent, mastic to keep this anti-microbial/oxidant/inflammatory, honey for moisturization and added antioxidants, seaweed for maintaining healthy and youthful skin, olive oil for skin moisturization and protection, and beeswax for natural protection against chapped, cracked and damaged skin.

Personally, I have been using this on my knuckles before applying lotion. I have had some seriously dry joints and this really helps to provide added hydration. I like the refreshing earthy scent and I love that it's formulated with quality ingredients based on ancient knowledge of healing with natural ingredients.

Athos Miracle Cream can be purchased at miraclecream.org for $29.90.
