Lip List #5

Last week I was feeling adventurous and I sported 5 different days of lippies. I like these posts because it's fun to see how lipstick actually looks on different people, and hopefully you'll see some colors you want to pick up! Cheers to informed purchase decisions! Here's what I wore last week:

• Monday: NYX Butter Gloss in Angel Food Cake - A mauvey-nude gloss. I LOVE the formula of the butter glosses. They're hydrating, pigmented and feel great on the lips.

• Tuesday: Besame Cosmetics lipstick in Exotic Pink - I think this color has  made a previous lip list before, and it's that good. It's a gorgeous matte flamingo pink that won't dry your lips out. 

• Wednesday: Revlon Lip butter in Raspberry Pie - Who doesn't love the Revlon lip butters?! They're so good! Raspberry Pie is a magenta pink that is so comfortable to wear.

• Thursday: Wet n Wild lipstick in Dark Wine - I stumbled upon this shade at the Dollar Tree and it has easily become one of my favorite colors to wear. It's exactly like it sounds, a color reminiscent of wine. The lasting power on this baby is pretty impressive, too. 

• Friday: Benefit lip gloss in Fauxmance - The consistency of this gloss is quite odd, it feels oily and kind of sits on top of the lips, but it's nice nonetheless. Fauxmance is a peachy pink that's perfect to toss in your purse for whenever you want a little pop of color.

Lip List #4

I was inspired this past week to put a little effort in to my lipstick routine. Truth be told, I couldn't be bothered to do much with my eye looks, so I jazzed up the bottom half of my face instead. ;) Here's what I wore in the last week, in order Monday-Friday:

• Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick in As You Wish Victoria - A creamy, hydrating bright magenta. Full review here. 
• Revlon Lip Butter in Sugar Plum - This is a moisturizing mauve color, perfect for every day wear.
• Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Gloss in Pink Pop - A light pink tinted gloss, perfect for the faintest hint of color.
• Bare Minerals Marvelous Moxie Lipstick in Get Ready - A creamy rosy pink, super comfortable to wear on the lips. 
• Mirabella Lipstick in Volatile - A vampy berry purple, perfect for fall.

Lip List #2

Last week's lips were definitely inspired by fall. Cooler temps have rolled in to my neck of the woods, and I have been craving all of the fall colors. I did manage to sneak in some bright, bold colors, too - but I think you'll see a trend in what I wore last week.

• Monday: MAC Ruby Woo, a classic MAC color and one of my favorite blue-toned matte reds. This is a permanent color in the MAC range, and for those of you who pay attention to the various formulas, this is a retro matte finish.

• Tuesday: Maybelline Color Sensational lipstick in Mauve Me, a shimmering mauve that's not too shimmery. This color is still available for purchase at Ulta. 

• Wednesday: Besame Cosmetics Exotic Pink, a creamy semi-matte flamingo pink. This lipstick is super pigmented and really comfortable to wear.

• Thursday: NYX B52, a mauvey brown cream lipstick. Pigmented, easy to wear, and not too heavy on the lips. 

• Friday: Stila Black Cherry lip glaze, a shimmery plum gloss that came in a holiday set. This formula is really sticky, which I am not the biggest fan of. (limited edition) 

Have you tried any of these colors? If you had to try just one I'd recommend the Besame Cosmetics lipsticks - they come in beautiful vintage packaging and the color payoff is exceptional.  Let me know your favorite in the comments!
