Becca x Jaclyn Hill Shimmering Skin Perfector | Champagne Pop
I pride myself on being a smart, sensible shopper. I can keep my cool, even when I know something is limited edition, but there was something so magnetic about this highlighter that even I couldn't resist. I present to you.... the highlighter that the beauty world is freaking out about: Becca's limited edition collab with YouTube sensation Jaclyn Hill - Champagne Pop Shimmering Skin Perfector. Admittedly, I've lusted after Becca Shimmering Skin Perfectors for a long time now, not willing to swallow that $38 price tag, so when this beautiful product came out, I finally bit the bullet.
If you're not familiar with Jaclyn Hill, one thing you should know is that she's basically the queen of the highlight. She rocks a dewy face that looks amazing with every video she uploads. Knowing her wisdom went behind creating this product, I was certain this would be the be all end all highlighter -- and I was right.
If you're fair-skinned like me, don't be put off by the rather orange-y tone of the product. I admit, I was nervous when I first pulled it out of the packaging as I thought there'd be NO WAY that it would work on my skin tone, but it's an absolute dream! It's a perfect golden shimmer that I honestly think would work on any skin tone. It is so finely milled and blends easily in to the skin to give you the perfect pop to your cheeks, or wherever you want to shine.
My suggestion: pop this along the high points of your cheek bones right after you apply your blush and down the bridge of your nose for a perfectly natural glow.
Don't be daunted by the high price. You use so little each time, this will certainly last you a lifetime. You get what you pay for, and I can promise you you'll be in love with this highlight. Purchase it at Sephora before it's gone for good!
